WBI Home Warranty Ltd. collects and uses non-identifiable information to optimize its website to better serve its clients and improve the quality of websites managed by it. This information allows WBI Home Warranty Ltd/ Wilson M. Beck Insurance Services to develop programs and content relevant to its clients’ needs and interest. Aggregated non-identifiable information is collected to perform statistical analyses of the collective characteristics and behavioral information of individuals. This information is also used to measure demographics and interests to always improve our website for its clients.
NO SOLICITATION
No part of this Site should be taken to constitute an offer or solicitation to buy products or services. Some products or services mentioned on the Site may only be available in certain jurisdictions where lawfully permitted and offered for sale.
WARRANTY – BUILDER CLIENT
We request information from you on our builder application form and throughout your membership with WBI Home Warranty Ltd. To be a member with us, you must provide contact information (like name and home address), business information (like business address and operation details) and shareholder/director information (like name, home address and financial information). This information is used for servicing purposes and to complete your application and subsequent warranty registrations.
If we have any questions or need to speak with you at all throughout your membership, we will use this information to contact you. The applicant will also need to provide and authorize WBI Home Warranty with consent, as agent for the Insurer, to collect, store and using their personal information for the purposes of further investigations, to make inquiries and to obtain personal information towards establishing or verifying their financial standing as deemed necessary to determine their ability to meet the obligations of the Insurer. These steps include, but are not limited to, accessing information from the Credit Bureau.
WARRANTY – HOMEOWNER
We request information from Homeowners on a COP (Commencement of Possession) Form in order to provide Homeowners with their warranty policy. Information requested will include Homeowners name, address, telephone number, and email address. This information is used for servicing purposes and to complete your warranty package. If we have trouble completing your warranty package, we will use this information to contact you.
In the event of a claim submission, Homeowners will be required to include their name, address, telephone number, and email address. This information is used for servicing purposes and to process warranty claim submissions. If we have trouble processing and assessing the claim submission and or submitted deficiency list, we will use this information to contact the Homeowner(s). The Homeowner’s name and contact information may be shared with the Builder in order to service the claim.
WARRANTY – Claim History
Anyone calling to determine Builder qualifications or Builder claim response will be advised to contact the Builder directly. Builder’s personal or business information will not be shared or discussed in whole or in part. Claim history will only be discussed with the Builder and or Homeowner and will not be discussed with other parties without explicit permission from the Builder and or Homeowner. Other parties including, but not limited to, realtors, family members, potential homebuyers, etc., will have to contact the Homeowner and or Builder directly.
COOKIES
We use “cookies” on this site. A cookie is a piece of data stored on a site visitor’s hard drive to help us improve your access to our site and identify repeat visitors to our site.
